Purified human plasma beta-2 glycoprotein (B2-GP or Apolipoprotein H/ApoH) protein for ELISA

AntigenB2GP was purified from plasma that has been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV. Purified protein (54 kda) is >98% pure by SDS-PAGE Biological activity ~4-5 PEU/mg solid. One PEU is defined as the amount of b2-glycoprotein 1 present in 1 ml of normal plasma (approximately 200 ug). Purified B2GP (cat # B2GP15-N-25) is supplied in 20 mM Hepes, 0.15M NaCl, 0.1mM PMSF, pH 7.5, and 20% glycerol and 0.1% bromonitrodioxane/methylisothiazoe (preservative) at 1 mg/ml or in powder form. Reconstitute powder in water at a 0.1-1 mg/ml. The protein is suitable for ELISA coating or as standards or as positive controls for Western.
