| Antigen | KLH, isolated from the hemolymphs of the molllusk Megathura crenulata, belongs to a large family of giant respiratory proteins called hemocyanins, which are found in mollusks and arthropods. It is pale blue-gray powder. It contain 0.25% copper. It is supplied in powder in a buffer (5 mM BES, pH 6.5, 10 mM MgSO4). It is soluble in PBS at 5-10 mg/ml. |
