AntigenRecombinant Mouse VEGF produced in E. coli is a double, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 39035 Dalton. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Ala-Pro-Thr-Thr. Mouse VEGF165 (cat #VEGF35-R-10 and # VEGF35-R-100) was produced in E. coli and purified to >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. Dimers or aggregates are less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. Endotoxin level is <0.1 ng/ug (<1 EU/ug) protein. It is supplied as lyophilized powder with no preservatives
